First West Chester Fire Company
How to Join
The First West Chester Fire Company is a volunteer organization and is always looking for people who are willing to lend a hand. Much of the community is under the impression that we only fight fires when in fact we participate in and host many events with members of various levels.
Our levels of membership are as follows:
Active - This level encompasses people who participate in firefighting activities or participate in fire company functions as a staff member.
Cadet/Junior - This level gives opportunity to those ages 14- 18 to volunteer and become familiar with fire fighting activities, as well as, engage in team building and responsibility development.
Honorary - This level is for members that have achieved 35 years of continuous service to the company.
Social - This level is for those who would like to contribute, but not on an active level.
