Company responds to Downingtown Apartment fire for RIT

At 05:19am Downingtown Fire Department along with Station 6 West Whiteland Fire Company, Station 38 , Station 47 Lionville Fire Company and Station 51 First West Chester Fire Co., Engine Co. 51 were dispatched to a building fire at the Woodmont North Apartments. During the response the assignment was upgraded to a building fire with entrapment due to residents being trapped on their balconies.
Engine 51-2 made the response and established RIT at the scene until the incident was placed under control.
