| 3 members started their journey in January thru June in a 4 module format giving up week nights and weekend days.
3 additional members completed the accelerated Summer Day Class attending 8 hour days Monday though Friday during May and June.
Both classes account for over 200 volunteer hours for each graduate.
While we are always bringing in new members and getting them trained this is the first time we have graduated 6 members at the same time. We thank these members for their dedication to the fire company and the community volunteering this time away from their families and personal lives.
These members have also completed a fire company structure burn qualification and have the ability to be pack qualified. This qualification earns their promotion to the rank of 3rd Class Firefighter.
The fire company also provided the Color Guard for the graduations opening ceremony. |
