West Goshen Township - Just after 10:00 AM, the West Chester Borough Fire Department were dispatched for a fire alarm at Peirce Middle School, 1300 block of Burke Road, West Goshen Township, for a fire alarm.

The incident was upgraded after crews arrived and found a small fire with the sprinkler system activated. A small fire inside was contained by the sprinkler system and fully extinguished by WCFD.

Assisting WCFD at the scene were Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, West Whiteland Fire Company, West Goshen Township Police Department and Chester County Department of Emergency Services Fire Marshal’s Office.
