West Chester Borough, PA - April 19, 2023

This afternoon at approximately 1:13 PM, the WCFD was dispatched to a reported building fire at the Chester County Hospital, 700 block of East Marshall Street, West Chester Borough.

The incident was reported to be a fire in a elevator room and elevator shaft within the hospital.
Our volunteers checked all areas of the hospital, including roof tops and found no hazards.

The WCFD was assisted by Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute, West Whiteland Fire Company, Goshen Fire Company and West Goshen Township Police Department.
