Serious accident with entrapment & fire on West Miner Street

East Bradford Township, PA - October 2, 2022

At approximately 7:15 PM on October 1, 2022, volunteers of the WCFD along with Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute were dispatched to an auto accident with entrapment and fire in the 900 block of West Miner Street, East Bradford Township.

Assistant 51 (McClure) arrived reporting a small fire in the engine compartment with two people trapped in the passenger area. Chief 51 (Pelna) arrived and assumed command and Assistant 53 (Scanlon) arrived on Rescue 53.

WCFD volunteers used rescue tools to free victims from the vehicle and they were transported to local trauma centers by EMS.

WCFD was assisted by Longwood Fire Company EMS and Goshen Fire Company Fire Police.
