Public Service - Animal Rescue

At approximately 5:30 PM this evening the WCFD was alerted to assist with rescuing a dog who became stuck under old slabs of concrete in the 600 block of Tower Lane, East Bradford Township.

Chief Officers along with crews from Ladder 53 and Brush 51 began to dig and carefully move large concrete slabs in attempts to free Chloe, the 2 year old, Jack Russell mix puppy.

After about an hour and a half, Chloe was freed , un-injured from her adventure.
Assisting WCFD were Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute and West Chester Borough Police Department.
