Today, two of our Chief Officers attended the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Command and Leadership Gettysburg Staff ride. Attendees were presented with the historical events of the Battle of Gettysburg examining the Union and Confederate Army Leader’s decisions. Understanding their management styles helped to exemplify lessons learned and how they correlate to quick decisions first responders have to make.
