Downingtown Borough, PA - March 27, 2022

Just after 2:30 PM, First West Chester Fire Co., Engine Co. 51 was dispatched to assist the Downingtown Fire Department as RIT on a house fire in Downingtown Borough.

Upon arrival, the crew from Engine 51-2 set up and staged as the RIT, although they were reassigned to deploying a hose line to an exposure building.

Engine 51-1 arrived at the incident and laid a back-up supply line and assumed the RIT assignment.
