Last evening during their weekly training night, volunteers from First West Chester Fire Co., Engine Co. 51 took time to refresh their brush/wildland firefighting skills. Crews took time to review equipment and operations of Brush 51 and ATV 51 before conducting a few live training scenarios.

Brush fire season is quickly approaching. Please remember to do your part in preventing brush/wildland fires by not conducting open burns on your property, throwing cigarettes out windows and making certain any camp fires are extinguished fully at the end of the day.
