West Chester Borough, PA, June 20, 2021.

At approximately 8:23 PM this evening, the West Chester Borough Fire Department along with West Chester Borough Police Department, Good Fellowship Ambulance & EMS Training Institute and the West Whiteland Fire Company were alerted for two separate transformer incidents in the 100 Block of East Gay Street, West Chester Borough.

As a precaution, residents and businesses in this block were evacuated until PECO could secure the incident.
