The officers of the First West Chester Fire Company would like to congratulate FF Alex Cahoone and FF Zach Axenfeld on their recent 3rd Class promotion.

Alex a senior at West Chester East High School, completed his Fire 1 program through the Octorara Homeland Security & Protective Services Academy.

Zach is a senior at West Chester West Chester B. Reed Henderson HS and recently completed the Fire 1 Program at the Chester County Public Safety Training Campus

The company conducted a live burn drill to test and qualify Alex and Zach to their 3rd class rank. 3rd class allows them to become interior firefighters in the department. Congrats to you both and the training doesn’t end here.
