Company Assists West Bradford on Mobile Home Fire

Just before midnight on July 18, Chester County Fire Board alerted Engine 51-2, who was clearing a cardiac arrest, to assist Station 39 on a reported house fire in West Bradford Township. Calls to 911 advised of a house on fire, with flames from the front. Chief 39 arrived and reported a mobile home with fire throughout. Engine 51-2 arrived seconds later and assumed the first due engine assignment. The crew from 51-2 stretched an attack line to front door, extinguishing the fire on an attached deck before making their way into the dwelling and locating a fire in the attack space. Additional arrive crews from Stations 39 and 52 deployed additional attack lines and assisted with fire suppression.

Chief 39 placed the fire under control at 0024. Additional arriving crews from Stations 36, 45, and Engine 51-1 assisted with overhaul. Station 51 unit returned to service just after 3am.
