At approximately 4am the West Chester Fire Department, along with Good Fellowship Ambulance and West Chester Borough Police, were dispatched to box 51-12 in East Bradford Township for the reported dwelling fire.

51-2 arrived as the first due engine and laid approximately 1200 feet of five inch supply line up the long driveway to the setback residence.

Crews determined that a fire had occurred within a heating / AC unit and had been contained to the same.

The appliance was secured, the residence was ventilated, and crews returned to service.
