At 0848 hours, Station 51 was dispatched for a report of a van on fire at Mayfield Avenue and W Virginia Avenue in West Chester Borough. Captain 52 was in the area and arrived to find a van on the side of the roadway with fire in the engine compartment. Engine 51-2 arrived and quickly extinguished the fire. All units were available a short time later.
