Shortly after 3am WCFD units along with Goshen Fire Company and Good Fellowship Ambulance were dispatched to the 100 block of Bantery Road for a reported garage fire. Multiple callers were reporting an attached garage on fire extending into the home. West Goshen Police were quickly on location confirming a fully involved attached garage. Engine 51-2 arrived and began a transitional attack hitting the bulk of the fire with master streams while crews stretched hand-lines and prepared to make entry into the dwelling. After a short interior attack crews were forced to withdraw due to deteriorating conditions. The fire was brought under control and all units returned available shortly before 7am.
