Last night just before 10:30 pm Stations 51, 25 (Longwood Fire Company), 36 (Po-Mar-Lin Fire Company), and Station 52 (Good Will Fire Company), were alerted to the 400 block of West Creek Road in Pocopson Township for a reported house fire. Initial calls were of fire from the roof near the chimney. Assistant 51 arrived on location and confirmed the report shortly followed by Engine 51-2 who began suppression efforts. Crews from West Chester and Longwood worked to quickly extinguish the fire. West Chester units returned to the borough shortly after midnight.
