Just before noon on Sunday, May 3rd, Station 51 was dispatched for one engine to relocate to Station 25 (Longwood) while their units operated at a working house fire in East Marlborough Township. Units from Station 36 (Po-Mar-Lin) were originally dispatched for a vehicle fire, but were quickly re-alerted for a house fire with a vehicle on fire inside the attached garage.

As Engine 51-2 was making the response to Station 25, Chief 36 requested the standby’s to the scene, as well as an additional engine out of Station 51. Crews from 51 were able to split, with both engines responding simultaneously.

Once on location, both engine crews were put to work inside and outside the structure for fire suppression and overhaul operations. Both engines cleared the scene at 1322 hours.
