Shortly before 1400 Station 51 was dispatched to assist Station 52 with a trash fire in the Green Mount Cemetery on Westtown Road. Brush 51 made the response and upon arrival immediately went to work assisting with fire suppression efforts on an approx 75' by 50' area of trash, woods, and various debris that were burning. Due to the large fire load and limited access issues multiple other units from the West Chester Fire Department were called to assist at the incident. A backhoe and skid steer were also utilized to help with overhaul efforts. Once the fire was extinguished companies returned to service.

Station 51 also answered two calls for Automatic Fire Alarms earlier in the day.
