Shortly before noon, Station 51 was dispatched to the rear of 656 Downingtown Pike for a reported trash/dumpster fire. Reporting party stated smoke coming from an unknown size dumpster out back. Engine 51-1 (John Morris IV) made the response and arrived to find a 5 yard dumpster fully involved with no exposures. Crews stretched a 1 3/4" hand line and extinguished the fire. After the situation was under control and the fire was extinguished the company returned available.
