Shortly after 1700 Stations 51, 52 (Goodwill Fire Company), 53 (Fame Fire Company), 54 (Goshen Fire Company), and 55 (Good Fellowship Ambulance), were dispatched to the 300 block of Sissinghurst Drive for a reported house fire. Initial reports were flames from the roof of a house. Police were quickly on location with flames from a chimney. Engine 51-1 arrived as first due engine, laid a supply line from a nearby hydrant, and stretched an 1 3/4" hand-line to check for fire extension into the house. After a thorough investigation the fire in the chimney was extinguished, all burning materials were removed from the structure, and no fire extension was found into the house. Units cleared the scene and returned available.
