Shortly after 2230 pm Station 51 was dispatched to the 1000 block of Longview Drive for a reported car fire. Initial reports were for a car next to a garage on fire. Chief 51 went on location with single vehicle, engine compartment involved. Engine 51-2 arrived and extinguished the fire. Upon investigation it was determined that the vehicle had been inside the garage and was removed to the outside by homeowners prior to FD arrival. Units cleared shortly after.
