Woods Fire

Shortly before 2000 hours station 51 was dispatched to assist 53 (Fame Fire Company) at 510 East Nields Street in the area of the train tracks for a reported woods fire. Brush 51 quickly responded and arrived on scene after Engine 53. Crews were met with approximately a 30 by 30 foot pile of logs and brush actively burning next to the railroad tracks. The fire was brought under control quickly and crews returned available.
