On Sunday, June 9, the WCFD was dispatched just after 1pm to the 900 block of Norwood Road in Westtown Township for a reported house fire. Initial callers reported flames from the roof with a vehicle in the driveway. Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police were quickly on location confirming "heavy fire". With this information Engine 51-2 requested the Working Fire Dispatch. Crews arrived to find a single family dwelling with fire showing from the "D" side and roof. Crews extinguished the fire and completed overhaul operations. Units cleared around 3:30pm.
