Just before 5 pm, after a strong line of thunderstorms moved through the region, Station 51 was dispatched for and Engine to assist Station 36 (Po-mar-lin Fire Company) on the 2nd Alarm assignment for a working house fire. Station 51 was staffed for the storm and crews responded immediately. Multiple WCFD units ultimately responded as the incident was raised to a 3rd alarm. Crews assisted with fire suppression and overhaul until released just before 7 pm.
