Shortly after 9am as Engine 51-2 was clearing from a reported trash fire, Chester County fireboard dispatched an accident reported serious in the area of Rt 202 and Stanton Ave in Westtown Township. Engine 51-2 was added to the crash and arrived to find a two vehicle collision with one still inside a vehicle. Upon the arrival of Rescue 53 it was determined extrication was needed to remove the occupant. Engine 51-2 pulled the front bumper line for safety as members from Rescue and Engine 53 quickly extricated the patient.
