Wessie Weekend 2015

On Saturday, August 1st, members of the First West Chester Fire Company participated in the annual “Wessie Weekend”, which is held in celebration of the company’s birthday each year. 2015 marks 216 years of continuous volunteer service to the residents and businesses of the greater West Chester Area.

Members played the traditional “Young Bucks” vs “Old Timers” softball game with the Young Bucks claiming victory 20 to 12. Afterwards members and their family’s gathered back at the firehouse for a picnic and horseshoe tournament.
