At 1240 hours on April 12, Station 51 was dispatched for a brush fire in the 400 block of Cottage Lane in East Bradford Township. The caller reported a 50’ by 50’ area of brush on fire and spreading. Brush 51 arrived on location reporting a large brush fire in a marsh and requested Brush 25. Tanker 52 was also requested to the scene.

Units from Station 51 quickly contained the fire to 1 acre. Crews from 51 and 25 operated for about an hour before returning to service.
