On Wednesday, January 13th at 2122 hours as
Station 51 was wrapping up their weekly drill night when a call went out to assistStation 25 (Longwood) on the working dwelling at W. Creek Road. Engine 51-2
went enroute with a crew of 8. Once onscene, Engine 51-2 picked up Longwood's 5" supply line at the intersection of West Creek and Route 52 and laid 1100 feet up Route 52 to the nearest hydrant. Engine 51-2's crew then proceeded to the scene where they were placed into service extinguishing the fire on the first and second floors. Extensive overhaul was completed and the company was available at 0043hours.
